waterRIDE™ is a unique water Resources Investigation Development Environment which was designed by WorleyParsons' engineers and programmers.  It was originally developed to allow the presentation and interrogation of the results of time varying numerical hydrodynamic models to be fully integrated with GIS technology.

This unique integration of GIS and hydrodynamic modelling technologies creates opportunities to add value to industry standard engineering models and provides time saving methods to reduce model setting up costs.

From it's beginnings in the numerical modelling industry, the waterRIDE™ library (or engine) now provides WorleyParsons with an incredibly powerful development environment.

The flexibility of the environment, combined with the WorleyParsons application development skills has led to the development of a range of customised software applications for our clients. Applications include:

The waterRIDE™ library was fully developed by WorleyParsons in the commercial development enviroment Delphi. Delphi facilitates access to datasets from any source (eg documents, spreadhseets, images, the web, SMS, email, databases, text and binary files, digital devices (cameras, GPS, phones etc)).
